… or is it Swefling – one ‘eff’ or two? Well, the answer to this depends on who you ask!
The answer is most probably “Swefling”… that is if you go by the older records and want to line up with the fact that it is actually “The Parish of Swefling”.
However, many maps, roadside signs and the Post Office all think it’s Sweffling.
The village is a hive of activity, from the parish council meetings, tennis club , CAMRA award winning pub The Sweffling White Horse and a variety of accommodation Holiday cottages and safari tents at Sweffling Hall Farm and campsite / glampsite at Alde garden behind the Village pub.
There is a great community spirit with a tennis club, village events, community meals, mobile library and much more.
